TUXX FIZZ AND A CELEBRATORY WIGGLE
Sophie chose her stunning Hatton cross bridal Gown at One1bridal in Cardiff
and could not help but do a celebratory Wiggle!
'My 'now' husband is Rob and we have been together 4 years, having met on
a holiday with mutual friends. We moved in together within 6 months, engaged
6 months later and we married in October - a whirlwind but it
never felt rushed'
Our best friends, who introduced us run a wedding venue, called St Tewdrics
House. We simply had to marry there. It is close to home in Chepstow and
stunning.
The ladies at One1Bridal are amazing, thoughtful, kind and professional. They
introduced me to the Dando London Collection. I had already tried on so many
dresses, having seen them on line and was disappointed with them all. Not one
of them looked like I imagined they would.
As soon as I put Hatton Cross on, I beamed and could not stop smiling and
actually did a celebratory wiggle - that's how good I felt. My mum had previously
seen me in one she liked, but then she saw me in Hatton Cross and cried. It out
shone everything I had tried on before. I felt elegant and special but also like me,
its hard to explain but it was just perfect. I also knew (not that this should be the
decider for any woman) that Rob would love it too and he did.
Deep red was our colour, roses, nails and lips and it stood against the pale ivory
with class and drama. The stunning roses were gorgeous from Secret Garden
Florist, in Cardiff. Our make up was by Farhan Ali and she manged to complete
beautiful make up for 9 of us. Farhan was a joy to have with us and made me
feel confident in my make up choice. Working alongside was my cousin Laura
who undertook the hair styling and did my hair exactly how I had envisaged.
The day was perfect, spending the morning getting ready with my girls, the speeches
were touching and the party with Tuxx Fizz was incredible. The whole of the day
was captured on film by Daniele Vincenti of Dfilms and Rhys Cozens took images
and captured moments we had not even seen.
