Following our engagement in Palma 2016, Thomas and I dreamed of a woodland, enchanted fairy tale wedding.
Which we created for our wedding day in church and the reception at Rivington Barn. We even had a woodland
desert table as our wedding cake.
When I began researching for the Perfect Bridal Gown, I knew exactly what I had in mind. One of the most special
woman in my world, my Nanna was going to join my mum and to help in the search.
Sadly my dear Nanna passed away just before I was going to try dresses. I knew I had to choose my dress around the
necklace my Nanna had worn on her own wedding day, which has been passed down the generations.
long for the one dress that made me experience 'that feeling' , I was excited, because I knew they stocked Dando London.
I had been following Dando London on instagram, admiring the elegance and beauty of each style. After trying on several
Dando London Gowns and falling in complete love with them all - one stood out - Covent Garden and I chose a beautiful
detachable train too.
I can honestly say it blew everyone away, especially my now husband Thomas who said
'The dress was everything and more, it blew me away, you looked like a movie star'

Sophia Ashton married Thomas at St Hilda's Church, followed by a reception at Rivington Barn on 14th September 2018.
